Collectors: MMSW Enters Post-Transition Phase 1

As of January 1, 2017, Multi-Material Stewardship Western entered Post-Transition Phase 1. The payment model for Collectors stays the same at a fixed rate of $11.75 per household per year.

As per the Program Plan, during Post-Transition Phase 1, payments will be made to municipalities to manage residential WPP supplied by MMSW Members. MMSW will be hiring an accredited accounting firm in 2017 to conduct audits for a sample of Collectors to determine supply chain costs of WPP in Saskatchewan.
